Security & privacy
What happens to your files, in plain words.
Deleted after 60 minutes
Files you upload to a tool, and the results made from them, are deleted from our servers automatically 60 minutes after they were last used. They are never copied into backups.
Private to you
Every file belongs to your browser session or your account, and every download checks that. File addresses are random 128-bit IDs. Share links exist only if you create one from your account, and you can revoke them at any time.
Encrypted in transit
All traffic uses HTTPS, and browsers are told to always use it (HSTS). Session cookies are HttpOnly and protected against cross-site requests.
PDF passwords are not kept
When you protect or unlock a PDF, the password is used only while the tool runs and is erased right after.
No ads, no trackers
We use no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. The cookies we set only keep your session and your files working.
AI only when you ask
AI tools need a free account and run only when you use them. The document is then sent to Anthropic, our AI provider, to answer you; under Anthropic's commercial terms it is not used to train their models. We don't store your AI conversations.
Your account, your data
Account passwords are stored only as bcrypt hashes. Files you save to Documents stay until you delete them, and deleting your account deletes them from our servers.
